It has been long observed that people for some reason on their non-banking days readily absorb shite about Dangerous Places, Famous People, Sensible Saving Options, Holidays, Interesting facts, Sport results, Media, gardening and health as well looking ahead at “opinion polls” and looking back at "how history was made". Here are three dates- july 27th 1968, August 29th 1975 Nov 20th 1975 Today marks the 30th anniversary of the last "one". It also marks the 60th anniversary of the Nuremburg trials. __________________________________________ ... read full story / add a comment

The recent spate of sectarian attacks in villages in Antrim and elsewhere are obviously not a reaction to the IRA as there is no longer anything resembling a war going on. national / crime and justice Tuesday November 15, 2005 - 22:08 by Michelle Clarke
This year, 18 people are dead, and so many friends, family and people are affected. Last year, it was 8 deaths in a turf war. The turf war is territory and the war relates to the sale of illegal drugs that destroy peoples' lives. I believe in everybody having a degree of self reliance in and input to halting this plague of mind distortion so called pleasure. The articles in New Scientist are worth a read. This week's article is second from the bottom.....the title is what motivates me to write, the remainder of my comment is about contextualising the effects of drugs on long term and health and in particular the consequences of mental health problems as a direct consequence of addiction. Let the children know. Why don't we have some for of game that shows you how unpleasant it is when your mind goes ary..... http://www.newscientist.com ... read full story / add a comment

This is my 4th article looking at the Housing Crises and Extreme Poverty in Paris. It is also direct response to tonight's speech by President Chirac on French TV in defence of the decision made today by cabinet to extend the curfew and (further criminalise) French youth for the next 3 months. ... read full story / add a comment
