With the tragic death of Savita Halappanavar, the unfolding of the Magdalene Laundries, with the attack on low paid civil servants, the women who feed the sick and those who keep our hospitals clean. The rats have been on South Georgia longer than the British settlers have been on the Malvinas. Why no support from The Daily Mail for them? Full story at link. An "alien invader" eradication scheme of unprecedented scope will resume on Friday on the sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia. Three former air ambulance helicopters will begin dropping 100 million poisonous pellets in a bid to eradicate brown rats from the island.
