The ambition of elites to "manage the infodemic" amounts to the establishment of a scientific priesthood that wants full control of what we are told to ensure we only come to approved conclusions, says Dr David McGrogan.

Dogs as beasts of burden.

ISPCA Fundraising is a very bizzare choice for a group that say they help animals.!

The Alliance for Animal Rights is horrified to learn that the ISPCA are promoting and using DOG SLED TREKING IN NORWAY as a fundraiser in 2010. They describe the event as follows on their website without a word of concern for the Huskie dogs involved. The fact that these dogs who will have to work 8 hours daily in brutal icy conditions and travel 60 Kilometers is apparently of no concern to this animal charity.
How could they even consider taking part in this, it is unbelieveable. Their website describes how gruelling it will be for the human participants but not for the ill-fated dogs. This fundraising idea is promoting the very thing they are raising the money to alleviate -animal suffering.

Pope Benedict XVI has today revoked the excommunications of four schismatic bishops, of the kind of flock who like to say Latin Mass & one in particular whose comments denying the Holocaust not only provoked recent outrage but did so without getting proper Irish media coverage.

So there you go. Priests and bishops these days may be getting screened oppressively to weed out the child molesters in a manner no trade union would accept for membership, but their bishopry is safe from accusations of Holocaust Denial.

it was on Youtube.

Richard Nelson Williamson, SSPX (born 8 March 1940) is a bishop of the Society of St. Pius X. He was excommunicated by the Roman Catholic Church because of his unauthorized consecration by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, deemed by the Holy See to be "unlawful" and "a schismatic act". The excommunication has just been lifted by the Holy See today, January 2009. He is a widely recognised Holocaust Denier.

A group of anti-zionist activists distributed leaflets and picketed the Liffey Street Marks and Spencer store in central Dublin today. Marks and Spencer's is unusual in that as well as selling Israeli goods, the company has a corporate relationship with the Israeli state.

The response from the majority of people was very positive, with a great many people refusing to pass the picket. After a while the management of M&S called the gardaí, but since there is no crime in leafleting, they left the protesters in peace. read full story / add a comment

The death has occurred of Bob Doyle, the last surviving Irish soldier of the XV International Brigade of the Spanish Republican Army.
The death has occurred in London of Bob Doyle, the last surviving Irish soldier of the XV International Brigade. Bob, whose health had been failing for some time had survived a recent double heart attack, before passing peacefully last night surrounded by his family. He was a few weeks short of his 93rd birthday.

Bob's career as an political activist has been recorded in his book Brigadista, which recounted his early life in Dublin as a Republican volunteer and later as a member of the Republican Congress, prior to his abortive first attempt to fight against Franco in July 1937, which saw him stow away on a ship to Valencia.

On his return to London (which he was to make his home for the remainder of his life) Bob contacted the CP and arrived in Spain by the more usual route, walking over the Pyrenees in a group o read full story / add a comment

The recent attacks on Gaza by the Israeli state have brought strange bedfellows out of the Irish woodwork. Almost to a man, and woman, those who were vitriolic in opposition to the Irish Peace Process have been four-square behind the slaughter in Gaza.

Eoghan Harris, Kevin Myers, Tom Carew, Ruth Dudley Edwards, please take a bow.

A short report on the role they played in support of the IDF – Israeli Defence Forces – is in order. Here is what they said and how it relates to their Irish politics. read full story / add a comment

Yesterday (January 22nd), Minister for Foreign Affairs Micheál Martin stated that it is "extraordinary" that gas from the Corrib field has not yet been brought onshore. Shell to Sea feels that what is really "extraordinary" is that the Government is still trying to force this experimental project through given the local community concerns regarding their health, safety and local environment. read full story / add a comment
