The SARI Sessions are radio documentaries promoting integration through music. Musicians from Nigeria, Slovakia, Serbia, Brazil and Ireland were captured live in the Cobblestone in April and May 2008. Organised by SARI and recorded by NEAR 90fm. This documentary featues music and interviews recorded live on the nights and subsequently in near fm studios. This prgramme featues contributions from Roli Lowry, the Silence and the Scream, Guilemere Curi, Djordje and Frank and others. read full story / add a comment

A group of Irish and Latin Americans living in Ireland will hold a demonstration in support of human rights and peace in Colombia. The residency starts in November 2008. Founded in 1996, this brilliant string ensemble, conducted by the renowned Italian Maestro Massimo Paris, will work closely with the community across the county, focusing on the key areas of performance, musical education and instrumental tuition. DUBLIN, Ireland - 18th October 2008 - The collective known as Anonymous marches forward on their path of exposing the fraud and abuses of the Church of Scientology with a worldwide protest this Saturday. This will be the ninth such protest to take place since Anonymous announced their intent to "dismantle the Church in its present form" in January of 2008.
