The giveaway of a public beach to developers while 6,000 objections ignored. Here corruption is exposed. Most people however get to confused to understand the corruption but do not be fooled. On Sunday 17th February IPSC activists and supporters held a vigil to commemorate the Palestinian village of Quisarya which was ethnically cleansed by Zionist forces on February 15th 1948. A map of historic Palestine was erected on the green at Howth Quays and members of the public were encouraged to place Palestinian flags in remembrance of the Nakba and symbolically returning the refugees to their lands. read full story / add a comment

The ITUC and the ITF are organising a global action day on 6 March 2008 to express our solidarity with Iranian workers once again. We want Mansour Osanloo and Mahmoud Salehi released immediately and unconditionally from prison. Their health conditions are deteriorating.
