At the November Dublin City Council Meeting, a question has been placed on the agenda to ask the City Manager to clarify the position regarding a deal for exclusive use of Shell petrol by DCC vehicles. A Westport Town Councillor has criticised proposals to charge householders to recycle at Mayo County Council’s two recycling centres, these recycling facilities are currently free of charge to the Mayo public.
