Bikes are the cleanest ,healthiest and safest way of getting around the city streets but cycling around Dublin can be a nightmare! Critical Mass is a mass coincidental bunch of cyclists on the city streets The point is to show everyone--commuters, pedestrians and residents that there is a better way to get around. Once people see how much fun cycling can be, and how much safer and more pleasant it makes their streets,we will see improved facilities for cyclists in the city something that will benefit everyone. read full story / add a comment

On Thursday 12th August 5 anti-war campaigners are on trial for their part in protests against George Bush’s visit to Northern Ireland in April 2003 had their Charges dropped. Two days had been set aside for the contest in Belfast Magistrates Court but by lunchtime on Thursday the 5 were popping champagne outside the court. read full story / add a comment
