The Ambush 2004 campaign today released details of their calls for protests against Bush’s visit to Shannon. These protests will include local protests the week before Bush arrives, a critical mass 'bikes against bush' tour across the country and two protests in Shannon and Bunratty while Bush is in Ireland.

Activists from the South Antrim Fascist Out Campaign took to the streets of Antrim town on Saturday to send a message to the WNP/C18 that their sick ideas are not welcome here. Activists handed out leaflets and put up posters across the town and received a warm response from people in the area. Approximately 150 people gathered today in Guildhall Square, Derry in a show of solidarity with Iraqi victims of British military violence. The crowd gathered around a large black cloth map of Iraq as they listened to families read accounts of how their own relatives were killed by the British military in Derry and Belfast. The families’ testimonials also included references to particular Iraqi victims of British state violence.
