over 3000 people marched on the gates of Phoenix Park. They were met by Gardai first, But it wasn't long before the water cannons were brought out. It was, as always, a good natured crowd and the majority were not intimadated by the tactics of the police. Now has never being such a good time to protest the disgusting slaughter of over 1 million defenceless seal pups. All over Europe groups are working on a Tourism Boycott along with a renewed campaign to ban seals products. In the USA and Canada campaign groups are working on similar boycotts, demos, legislator campaigns, College Campuses and also starting to target cruise ships going into Canadian ports. Please join the protest "Club Sandwiches Not Seals" demo.

Where: Canadian Embassy, St Stephens Green
Time: 1.00pm

Be creative, bring with you whistles or megaphones to attract attention to our campaign.
