Park Constables attempted to prevent the group of protesters walking through Stephen's Green to Iveagh House. They said "No advertising allowed". What did they think we were advertising? Pictures of dead children! Their attempts were to no avail and the protest continued in front of Iveagh House. read full story / add a comment

Worried that the PSNI surveillance squad were getting tired of filming protestors at the US Consulate, Bellybuttons Against the War decided to create a spectacle at today's picket. Around 40 people in all took part in the picket which lasted about an hour. A police camera and microphone were in operation for the duration. Anti-war activists will soon be starring in South City Beat, allegedly! read full story / add a comment

A handful of more pictures from last night, apologies for the quality. Shame the NGO rep only got to speak last, I've no interest in hearing politicans on an anti-war event, they should keep their energy for the Dail, which going by it's present state would be of more benefit to the Ireland by being burnt to the ground. read full story / add a comment

once again the protesters took to the streets of Dublin. But this time they brought their friends... for the first time in quite a while the riot police were brought on the streets of Dublin. What started out as a peaceful protest was soiled by the oppressive arm of the state. Approximately 300-400 protesters were forcefully removed from the roadway and a small number had to be brought to hospital suffering from acute state-government brusing. read full story / add a comment
