‘our mayday’ The tradition of mayday has always been about the celebration of life, a way of people coming together all over the world, taking over public spaces, a day of defiance against authority. Mayday is a chance for us to connect our struggles with the struggles of others globally, a day when we can collectively voice our opposition to exploitation, the repression of our desires and dreams, to create a new world, a stateless world, a world without capitalism... ‘our kitchen’ is a weekly gathering for people who want to change the world.
