Dear Activists A special all Dublin activist meeting is taking place on Saturday 6th December in the Central Hotel. Activists from the four local authority areas will be attending - Fingal, South County Dublin, Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown and Dublin City. The four local authorities have reacted differently to the new power to implement non collection, and the campaigns have responded accordingly. Reports will be given from each campaign area. A general discussion on tactics and the way to progress the campaigns will then take place. A good turn out is hoped for. Hopefully you can attend and bring other activists along. read full story / add a comment

Importance: High As many of you may know Fionn Ryder, Treasurer of the CPSU AN Post Branch is in Mountjoy Jail for the heinous crime of "protesting". He has just served the 1st week of a 3 week sentence & has been fined 1500 Euros by the High Court for fighting against Double Taxation. Therefore a protest has been called at 7.15 this Monday evening the 17th Nov outside Mountjoy to show solidarity with those jailed & to demand their immediate release. The CPSU An Post Branch Banner will be there and we are asking for a sizeable turn-out. So if you could please come along & even bring some work-friends with you I`m sure Fionn would greatly appreciate it. read full story / add a comment
