The following is a sample complaint which I have drafted which you might find useful if you belive the FF/PD complicity in Bush's war is criminal. I'm not a lawyer, but I think this should be good enough for a criminal complaint. It is based on a complaint I submitted last December which is 'still with the DPP' I will put in the long version first, to cover everything I think is relevant. Will probably stick in a less detailed summary as a COMMENT. Feel free to suggest extra pieces. If you want to take this seriously then add in any personal experience you have of witnessing these acts. If you have not actually been struck by fear at the sight of US Special Forces and their aircraft in Ireland then omit that from your complaint. There has been discussion on whether St Patrick day should be used for anti-war demonstrations or left as a purely celebratary day. John Prescott told a Hull firefighter he'd reject the latest offer to the union if he was still a union shop steward. The admission came during Wednesday's lobby of Parliament. During a meeting lasting an hour and 20 minutes Ian Murray, a Hull firefighter said he repeatedly asked Mr Prescott if he would recommend the deal if he was still a union shop steward. "I kept pushing him to answer and eventually he said: 'Of course I wouldn't have.' I said to him: 'So why do you expect us to recommend it?' "He said the biggest mistake was asking for such a 40% pay rise from the outset. He said no workers would get that without giving up anything in return." The so-called Anti-War Movements of all the countries dithering over /when/ to escalate the murder of Iraqis are a shambolic coalition of hypocrites and do-gooders. Until we sort out clearly that 2nd UN Resolution or not, Iraq should not be invaded, sanctions should cease and Turkey should be prevented from oppressing Kurds further, we are doomed to failure. read full story / add a comment

The surreal experience that is Ennis district courtroom continued apace last Friday 7th March with 3 separate cases of resistance to US military use of Shannon Warport being heard. Set in a 1970’s GAA clubhouse/drinking den, the court surroundings brought a whole new meaning to ‘being brought to the bar’ as most of us sat propped against it, reading papers. read full story / add a comment

A US Air Force marching band has pulled out of two events in Limerick this weekend. The US Air Force In Europe Band was due to take part in the International Festival Parade on Sunday and the St Patrick’s Day Parade. It is understood they are withdrawing due to security concerns. About 50 of the band’s members, however, will be guests of the “Springfest 2003” celebrations in the city. read full story / add a comment
