In the wake of the internment of marian price, which I believe over the last two years, can generally be agreed, to have been a form of internment because it lacked a proper, transparent trial, in a timely manner. I also believe it can be generally agreed by reasonable informed people, to have been a major setback, to what is known as the peace process in Ireland. I personally have neither been a proponent of this process or have believed it will achieve traditional Irish republican aspirations but I accept very reluctantly, it is a reality, delivered by a leadership with elements of competency, without wholesale fratricidal, blood letting. read full story / add a comment

Interned Irish republican marian price will learn this week if she will be be freed after more than two years' imprisonment according to the Parole Commission which will make an announcement by Thursday. On March 14th, 2013 Provisional Sinn Féin MLAs Jennifer McCann and Sean Lynch, met with Vice royal Theresa Villiers, regarding the continued internment of marian price and called for the immediate release of marian price according to MLA Jennifer McCann. Dolours price has been found dead at her home in Dublin. The 62-year-old mother-of-two was found at her home in Malahide last night, sources said. Her death is not being treated as suspicious. A postmortem is due to take place on her body at the Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown later today. The political internment of marian price, is a clear a breach of Article 3 of the European Convention of Human Rights and of Article 5 of the Convention. The Convention protects the individual from being subject to torture including inhuman and degrading treatment Article 3 and also the right to liberty and security of the person Article 5. Police state measures reflect British current policy, in what is supposedly a peace process in British Occupied Ireland. Compromised civil liberties expanded secret service surveillance, eroded habeas corpus rights, formalized secret service tribunals, permitted psychological torture and internment without a transparent trial, all in the name of the terrorist narrative. All of this continues while at the same time, the British Government itself is being exposed for its state terrorism of murdering human rights lawyers in British Occupied Ireland.
