On Saturday 3rd of September at 6:00 p.m a memorial stone will be unveiled in memory of Socialist Republican Peter Daly in Monageer (Enniscorthy) Co. Wexford on Saturday the 3rd of September at 6.00 pm. Peter fought with the Irish contingent of the International Brigade in the war against fascism in Spain and died in September 1937. He had been reared and went to school in Tinnacross and later Monageer. Seanchas is planned for the 24th to the 26th of July. This 3 day event combines many aspects of sustainable living. Over the weekend workshops will be available, reskilling people in native heritage crafts and practical living skills, as well as educating them on the issues that face us as society today. We believe that by coming together, sharing ideas and skills we can initiate great positive change both locally and globally.
