Donate to IndymediaIndymedia is a not-for-profit news site that accepts no advertising or commercial support whatsoever. We rely entirely on volunteer labour to keep the site going and donations from users to pay our hosting charges - which keep increasing as our traffic increases - in June of 2010, this was over 13GB a day and about 13 million hits a month. If we want to keep on growing we need the community to help out and for users to donate a few euros towards the bills. We also try to help out with similar projects in other parts of the network, especially in the global south.
Nov 2010 :
We have now closed our 2010 Autumn appeal for server funds as we have almost reached our target of €2000. We would like to say a big thank you to all those who donated both big and small and it must be emphasied once again that without these funds there would be no website. So hopefully we won't have to come back looking for funds for at least another year but people are welcome to use the PayPal link at anytime or lodge money in the bank at any time. Thank You.
