There are currently 2 Scania lorries carrying lengths of pipeline for Shell attempting to access farmers' land. They are being held by a van and about 13 local people. There is also one Gard present at the scene. The standoff has been going on since 6pm when local farmer Willie Corduff witnessed the lorries attempting to access (his)? land.
This is the time to act folks. If you were up in Mayo at the weekend you'll know why. we HAVE to support these people. If you can get up there consider going.
