The speech of the Member of Parliament Vittorio Sgarbi in the session of the Italian Camera, Meeting no. 331 of Friday 24, April, 2020. It's very possible at this point that Michael D Higgins will win the presidency before McGuinness is eliminated and his votes distributed.

Yes, that looks increasingly likely.
The blow to Gallagher on RTE from McGuinness last Monday was perhaps even more decisive than at first thought.
Even more reason for Harris to hate RTE and Sinn Fein (and 'hush puppies', and liberals, and socialists, and republicans, and Palestinians, and the Aubane Historical Society).
no use hangin bomber harris..

Look fellows, stop all the repetitive moaning about Harris and his U-turns and political rantings. Just stop buying the Sindo which regularly carries his and other columnists' drivel. Don't contribute another cent to the business that churns out this stuff on a weekly basis to an apparently passive readership.

In relation to the last two comments:
1. Individual decisions on whether or not to buy or not the Sunday Independent will depend on general knowledge of its relentless bias in support of the the status quo and attacks on targets who are denied a right of reply. Persuading people in ones or twos will have little effect.
2. That brings us to comment two. A critique of the Sunday Independent and other corporate media generally will depend on analysis of its individual failings, of which Harris is the most glaring example. Detailed knowledge will lead to general understanding.
(3. Can someone please put back in paragraph breaks - that have disappeared from this comment as well.)
every little helps

We don't need a systematic analysis of corporate media to know that the Sunday Independent publishes a constant diet of biased political garbage. We know already that the Sindo has a virtual Sunday monopoly following the disappearance of the S. Tribune and the inability of the S. Biz Post to fill the vacuum.

Every individual who decides to boycott the Sindo is helping to chip away at its editorial rantings. Opposition to what the Sindo stands for starts with ourselves. All we need is willpower and an ability to persuade friends and acquaintances to follow our personal lead in reducing the circulation figures.

Gallagher was a FF twat. His behaviour around business loans etc was to say the least dubious. To vote him in was to give him a brown envelope containing 5000 euro every single week for 7 years for doing fuck all. 500,000 really stupid people actually voted for this tit probably because they saw him on a stupid tv program and the fact that he kept repeating the word jobs over and over even though the only job he would create would be his own overpaid one. The man could barely speak or spell. He was a dyed in the wool FF bagman. We dodged a bullet here. Thank dog martin mcguinness screwed up his campaign.
