The largest turn-out in recent years joined the Bundoran/Ballyshannon H-Block Committee in remembering the ten men who died on hunger-strike in 1981 and listened intently as Richard Behal read a previously unpublished poem by Bobby Sands.
A full report will be published in the September 2011 issue of 'Saoirse'
which goes to print on Wednesday 7th September 2011 : meanwhile , photographs from this Commemoration can be viewed at the 'Related Link' , below.
Thanks ,
Sharon.

impressive turn out, well done to all. the pics in the link are great and a tribute to the hunger strikers. Saoirse should consider publishing that previously unpublished poem in the next issue, if possible

Thanks for your comment - appreciated!
The above-mentioned Bobby Sands poem will be published in the September 2011 issue of the 'Saoirse' newspaper , the speeches delivered on the day will be covered and more pictures from that Bundoran Commemoration will also be published.
Thanks for your interest,
Sharon.
Great stuff Sharon and Great to see the legend Joe O Neill still in good health.
Hi RR !
Joe is holding his own , so far - his mind is as sharp as ever , especially in relation to republicanism.
Thanks,
Sharon.
