2 hour vigil at the G.P.O

Free Bradley Manning! Demilitarise Shannon! End the War!

Bradley Manning is presently benig tortured in the largest U.S. Marine Base in the world at Quantico, Virginia, U.S.A.

Most troops who were sent to invade and occupy Iraq, including Bradley, went through the small departure lounge at Shannon Airport. 4,000 returned in body bags mostly through Saudi!
20,000 returned so seriously injured they will never walk or talk again were shipped mostly through Germany and Italy. Guantanamo prisoners were rendered in chains through Shannon. 1 million Iraqis (Lancett Report) were slain by U.S. troops that were fed, watered and passed through "neutral" Ireland.

Every deadly little technique they finetuned at Long Kesh, Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo they have turned on Bradley Manning accused of exposing a U.S. war crime in Baghdad. They are hoping to break Bradley to deliver WikiLeaks publisher Julian Assange. Bradley has held out for 300 days, you're solidarity will keep this man going. Do what you can and consider doing some more!

Local Guantanamo activist Colm Roddy will be joined by international anti-war/ former (& let's face it probably future!) anti-war prisoners Frank Cordaro, Steve Jacobs and Ciaron O'Reilly. We have a stack of Bradley Manning visuals, so just swing on by and touch base for 5, 10 30 minutes or whatever!

Frank and Steve can update you on the war and anti-war scene in the U.S. and Ciaron likewise from London, Colm can update you with info from Shannon.

8p.m. Friday April 8 there will be music and speakers at Wynne's Hotel, Abbey St. Dublin
