Come and help build the new camp this weekend!
The Rossport Solidarity camp work weekend is the 2nd and 3rd April.
We need help to get the camp set up before next week to create a good base for continual action against Shells work.
Shell have started their initial work at Glengad. We are calling for people to come up and take action and so we need to build a camp to accomadate as many people as possible.
We have built a communal bender and have set our main markey, but loads more work is needed to get the camp ready. If you have experience or not all are welcome!
We are also holding tours of the area affected by the pipeline named WALK THE PIPE TOURS
If you cannot make it up at the moment please continue to watch the updates and remain ready to come up when Shell start to fence off their compound and the days of mass action will begin.
This is a great chance to come & learn practical skills or if you are a carpenter, builder, DIY enthusiast we need you! Everyone welcome.
We are also stopping Shell's survey work and need people to come up and join us.
The following Walk the Pipe tour & Shell to Sea Information Weekends will be Sat 16th-Sun 17th April.
Visitors are welcome any time so if you want to come up at different times, just email rossportsolidaritycamp@gmail.com or phone 0851141170 for information.
Accomodation is available at the camp house, the new camp or book in to the lovely Kilcommon Lodge Hostel http://www.kilcommonlodge.ie
Hope to see you soon!
