Fast Food Giants-Stop your attacks on Workers Wages

Up to 100 people joined a picket outside Supermacs, on O'Connell Street today, in a protest againt attacks on resteraunt workers wages.

The picket was launched as The Quick Service Food Alliance launched their High Court challenge to the right of the Joint Labour Commitee (JLC) to set minimum wages and conditions for workers in the resteraunt and catering industry.

Members of the Restaurant Workers Action Group, established by the Migrant Rights Centre Ireland (MRCI), were joined by members of SIPTU, TEEU, UNITE and other unions, as well a left activists from Labour, United Left Alliance and others.
