Come along to discuss and plan upcoming activities. We have stalls at festivals and city centres, organise demos and speaking tours, film evenings, lobby politicians etc.
All ages and nationalities are welcome. You don’t have to know a lot about Middle Eastern politics to get involved.
We are only 4 days into 2011 and already two Palestinians - Mahmoud Daraghma
(21) and Jawaher Abu Rahmah (31 - sister of our friend Bassem, who was also murdered in April 2009) - have become fatalities in Israel's ceaseless ethnic cleansing. Meanwhile, the siege of Gaza and Israeli airstrikes continue, as do settler attacks on Palestinians and the repression of Palestinian citizens of Israel and Israeli anti-Zionists. Despite the "calm" one might perceive from Western media sources, the occupation remains as harsh as ever for the Palestinian people and solidarity actions remain necessary.
