Public Talk on the Kurdish Question: the EU, Middle East and what do Kurds fight for
Chair: Raymond Deane
Pearse Centre, 27 Pearse Street, Dublin 2
Thursday November 25 at 18:30
We invite you to participate in a public discussion on the Kurdish question, from the perspective of the Kurdish people themselves. What do the Kurdish people fight for and why they are resisting? What's the importance of the Kurdish question for the Middle East? How is their struggle shaping Middle Eastern politics, being, as they are, at the heart of Iran, Iraq, Turkey and Syria? What's the attitude of the US in relation to the Kurdish struggle? What's the EU attitude in relation to the Kurdish struggle?
All of this to be addressed by knowledgable speakers including Latif Serhildan of the Kurdistan National Congress and Kardo Bokani of PJAK.
