Appeal to link up with the Left wing bloc on Demo this Wed Nov 3rd

Left wing students are appealing for all those on the left who are joining this weeks Union of Students in Ireland demonstration against third level fees to assemble at the Ambassador from 12.15 onwards.

As anti-capitalists, we recognise the connection between education cuts and broader cutbacks which harm communities and the working conditions of all. We will not ask for a 'smaller increase' in the registration fee, rather we will demand free education and reaffirm our solidarity with all in society resisting the government's austerity agenda.

We appeal to left groups to join with us on the day. 'Students in Solidarity' and 'Free Education for Everyone' banners have been seen on a wide variety of marches this year, from Anti-Capitalist Bloc's to protests against the obscene bank bailouts. We will not pay for the crisis others created, and we see education cutbacks as just a small part of the attacks being inflicted on the people of Ireland. We reaffirm our support for education workers who are resisting cutbacks.

MARCH WITH US. Assemble at 12.15 at the Ambassador. All are welcome to join us. We refuse to demand small concessions from this shameful and corrupt government.
