Aided and abetted by Israeli Occupation Forces

Following the massacre aboard the Mavi Marmara, there was no attenuation of Israeli Occupation Forces violence in suppressing the ongoing resistance to the Occupation. At last Friday's peaceful protest in the village of Nabi Saleh violence erupted after Israeli Occupation Forces blocked the marchers from progressing further at the edge of the village and doused them with copious amounts of tear gas, local shabab responded with flurries of thrown rocks and unusual for the Nabi Saleh protests there were no reported injuries.

Eyal Nir, a doughty Israeli Anarchist Against the Wall activist after clearly upsetting some of the soldiers with his strong words was peremptorily arrested for his truth saying and carted off in the back of an IOF jeep to detention. The protest was called-off in the afternoon so villagers could attend the burial of a 91 year old woman. After Friday prayers, the villagers along with international human rights activists and Israelis with live conscience, every Friday, protest against the ongoing theft of their land by "settlers" from the nearby israeli colony of Halamish who are protected, aided and abetted by Israeli Occupation Forces.
