On Tuesday 16th March, a small but dedicated group of UK Shell to Sea supporters gathered at the Irish Embassy in London to remind the State that their unjust imprisonment of Pat O'Donnell has not gone unnoticed outside Mayo, and will not be forgotten. A poster and leaflet was delivered to the embassy, and accepted by a member of staff, who then spoke with members of the group.

Beir bua agus buiochas Londain!

Thanks and regards to all who took part in support of The Chief.

Off now to Castlerea to mark the beginning of the sixth week of this vindictive state/corporate imprisonment of a decent, principled man.

Excellent eye-catching displays there. Shame on the Irish State for persecuting a brave, principled man. Hail to the Chief - beir bua!

Not only have the authorities a duty to free the Chief immediately and unconditionally, but he should also receive an apology and reparation for the wholly unjustified slurs on his character made by a Shell puppet judge.

While i fully share your views and abhorence of SHell, it is not SHell that appoints these judges it is the real traitors of Fianna Fail that does. They have just appointed another raft of their cronies to be circuit court judges Albert Reynalds daughter is one of them
Well done to all s2s supporters especially the imprisoned ones. We will all keep up our fight against these corrupt scum.
FIANNA FAIL INSTRUCTS THE JUDGES ON BEHALF OF SHELL WHO COULD NOT DO WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO IRISH CITIZENS WITHOUT PERMISION AND INSTRUCTION FROM OUR HOME GROWN TRAITORS.

While I fully understand your views, and fully empathise with your feelings, I believe there is a bit more to it all, and that it is very important to fully understand the "bit more" -- if a "just and lasting" solution is ever to be found to the sickening set of problems our society is at present saddled with.

Suggestion for anybody wishing to learn about the "bit more" -- "Google" the short set of words provided below, as they are shown ("copy and paste" style) into the "Search" area, and "click".

tripartite separation of powers, Republic of Ireland

You have confirmed my belief that Ireland is rotten to the core.
In view of the IRMS security company recruiting Balkan mercenaries with absolutley no assesment as to their possible criminal backgrounds and using said recruits to abuse and commit crimes against the Irish people, i would like you to look at this web site.
The-Spirit -Of-Truth. ORG
The Garda ombudsman is accountable to the DPP and the minister for justice, so pleading to any sector of the state is wasted energy. Untill HONESTY is introduced to Ireland i don;t see how we can change the state of our country.
All politicians regardless of party are aware of what is happening but coose to do nothing about it.
If you have any sugestions as to how to change this i would love to know?

To "old codger" at Mon Mar 22, 2010 13:58

The core issue (I believe) is that our government appears to be entirely dependant on the "big bankers" (for the money they need) at the present time, and consequently completely under their control in a way whereby our government has to do whatever the global banking cartel wants our government to do.

The only hopeful sign I know of is that there appears to be a growing movement in the United States for new "publicly owned" banks to be created: for the purpose of removing the banking cartel's present control over the government there.

We desperately need to go down the same road here (in my view).

Chief O Donnell is an outstanding man. I thought your poster describing him was excellent.
Because he has stood firm against the corruption and bullying of our politicians, our judges and Shell with their armed security company, he is now in prison. Fortunately the attempt to drown both him and his helper failed. Why is the state not investigating that act of terrorism??????
