Hundreds of students gathered at the Dail to protest any re-introduction of fees
Things are hotting up. It used to be students only protested when term time had settled in. But now while the President of New Zealand's students union is over she was sharing the devastating impact that student loans have had in her home country. Students faced with huge debts have left NZ and thew country has experienced a shortfall of professions among them Doctors who have gone abroad to earn more money to pay the debts off quicker.
