USI Protest Against The Re-Introduction OF Fees

USI is calling on all students to congregate outside Leinster House at 1pm, Next Tuesday (September 15) to protest against the reintroduction of third level fees.

'This date marks Minister Batt O'Keefe's deadlin for his cabinet colleagues to submit their views on the fees issue to him.

Labour councillor Niamh Breathnach - who was minister for education in 1993, when fees were abolished - will speak at the event.

Fees will only cripple students with debt & make college inaccessible to hyndres around Ireland.
