Neo Nazis out of Temple Bar
Text of a leaflet distributed around the Temple Bar area today by a group of 40 antifascists.
Known members of a neo-nazi skinhead gang have been operating in this area over the summer months, attempting to recruit what they see as impressionable young people to their warped ideals.
The gang, led by fully trained members of the Irish army, have been linked to serious racial and homophobic attacks in the Temple Bar area. Despite ongoing reports in the media of the gang’s activities Gardai have failed to do anything to tackle the problem.
WE SAY; Fascists will not be allowed to use Temple Bar or any other part of the City as a recruitment grounds. They will be met with opposition every time they try bring fear to our city streets.
Everyone has the right to move through the city unmolested and without fear of attack for the colour of their skin, nationality or sexuality.
Nobody should have to live in fear of neo-nazi attacks.
We say these fascists cant be allowed to organise in any part of this city and that their hate filled white supremacist ideals only serve to pit workers against one another. At a time when we face daily attacks on our working conditions it behoves all workers to stand together and fight for their common interests.
The group can be easily recognised by their pathetic uniforms of shaved heads, black boots with white laces and militaristic clothing emblazoned with swastikas and other nazi imagery.
We call on anyone who has any information on this neo-nazi gang to shop them by contacting us on this email address; fascistsout at gmail dot com
