A new chapter in the history of workers' struggles
This public meeting will have one of the workers who occupied Thomas Cook offices on Grafton St. from Friday 31st of July until the early hours of the morning on Tuesday the 4th of August after being forcibly removed by over 80 Gardai.
This is a significant moment in Irish labour history and to discuss some of the issues it raises will be one of the purposes of this meeting. The brave stance taken by the workers will also be saluted by some drinks and music afterwards.
