Dublin workers remain locked out of their place of employment, while scabs (some brought in from Britian) do their work. Workers at Marine Terminals Ltd are still on offical strike. The U.K. based bosses are determined to force redundancies and only employ workers on lower pay and with worse conditions. They are deliberately raising tension, pure harassment, designed to bully the workers and their families. This got worse following a march by our communities to show our support. Neither the community nor the workers will be intimindated.
If this company succeeds, other workers will face similar attacks, in Dublin Port and throughout the country. With your support the workers can win.

The Thomas Cooke workers who were involved in last weekend's occupation of their office will meet at the TSSA office, Nearys Court (just beside Temple Street hospital) at 9:30a.m. on Monday and march to the docks in support of the Marine Terminals workers.
From there they will march to the Labour Relations Court where they have an emergency hearing later on Monday.
They welcome support from everyone so please join them if you can.
Please publicise this as widely as possible.
