To mark the tenth anniversary of the 1999 student uprisings and to support the current popular protests in Iran for freedom and democracy, the Iranian community in Ireland will hold a peaceful rally the Irish Parliament on Thursday, July 9th at 15:00.
Our demands:
1. Stop all political, diplomatic, economic relations with the Iranian regime until a free election is held under the supervision of the United Nations.
2. Condemn the Iranian regime for its bloody suppression of the Iranian people, and support the Iranian people's uprising to end the religious dictatorship ruling Iran.
3. Release of all political prisoners.
4. Ask the UN Security Council to form an international court to place the officials involved in the suppression, particularly Khamenei who has ordered the slaughter of the people, on trial.
The time has come for change. The people of Iran have spoken and the message is clear, they don’t want a dictatorship.
Join us and help echo their voices to the world.
