Protest at the Israeli Embassy
This Thurs, 9th July, is the 5th anniversary of the ICJ ruling on the illegality of The Wall. The ICJ (World Court) in 2004 ruled that Israel's Apartheid Wall, and by extension all settlement-colonies, are illegal under international law.
To mark this we will be holding a demonstration at the Israeli Embassy at 4pm.
The plan is to symbolically 'wall' the staff into the embassy building. We will not actually block them from leaving as this would no doubt result in us being moved on by the police, possible scuffles and negative publicity, all of which we don't need.
We are asking people to form a 'human wall' at each entrance and will operate a mock checkpoint at each gate. For this we will need at least 30 people which may be difficult as it is during working hours.
Please bring your flags, banners, placards etc as always.
We need: People to form the human wall.
A few people to 'operate' the checkpoints.
A few people to operate and look after the stall.
People to help with moving stuff from the office to the demo.

Jump To Comment: 1A U.S decision to allow its proxy to attack Iran could well prove to be the start of WWIII and the worst foreign policy error of the 21st century. Once those ICBMs are fired from Israel, with or without nuclear warheads, then, arguably, everyone living today will suffer the consequences.
From Alaska to Mexico and from London to Oman and Karachi – the world will have years to reflect on our stupidity and the arrogance of our elected representatives.
