Jim Fitzpatrick has released a new Che image, free for use, with some minor restrictions

On revolutionary day for some, I thought I'd bring this new image to your attention. It should be distributed far and wide, in honour of Neda Agha-Soltan who was killed during democracy protests in Iran.

This is what Jim has to say about the image on his Facebook page:

"This is for Neda! Venceremous!

This is for use by those who believe in a democratic Iran. It cannot be used to attack Islam or the people of Iran. I am the copyright holder and this variation of my CHE image may be used ONLY by those who believe in the human rights of the people of Iran. This image was created to honour the martyr Neda."

This is how Jim describes it on his Flickr site:

"I am the creator of the original CHE graphic -my Che artwork work is in the Santral Gallery in Istanbul (Che exhibition: October2008-January2009). This is my tribute to Neda and the Iranian people. Use it freely in their honour. Allah Akbar! Jim FitzPatrick. Ireland."

Jim has been a great supporter of the Save Tara campaign, and we want to thank him again for that.

I think we should honour both Jim and Neda, by spreading this image as far and wide as possible.
