Teeny Boppers Beware!!

Fake Hannah Montana tickets!

Fans of teenage pop sensation Miley Cyrus A.K.A Hannah Montana beware! The website www.mileycyruslive.net is claiming to sell genuine tickets for her upcoming sold out gig at Dublin's O2 Arena. However these tickets are counterfeit and despite charging between 65.70 - 86.25 Euro per ticket patrons will under no circumstances be admitted to the upcoming event. Despite the website having an official looking layout, it has no connections to promoters Aiken, Ticketmaster or to the singers management team. Upon closer inspection of the websites terms and conditions the so-called independent ticket agency describes the tickets as being "souvenirs". However this has not stopped hundreds of stressed out Irish parents in an act of desparation purchasing the fraudulent tickets on their preteens behalf - even though it has been announced that all tickets have been sold out-. Never has the old latin term caveat emptor or Let the buyer Beware been so relevant.

There was a q around the corner all the way to major Toms for her tickets last week .Some people slept overnight to be first in line more joined them from 6am onwards out in the rain and cold. The ticket office opened at 9 am them in walks a Garda stright to the top of the q "i`ll have 14 tickets for the super" he says to a security guard , tickets limits are 4 per person. The security explain that he cant jump the q or get 14 tickets so what does he do ?Asks the fella for "his details" .
The crowd got restless out come one parent and says get to the back of the q or else there will be a riot .
Two shows sold out in ten mins, leaving loads of balling kids and stressed out parents.

The actions of that garda should be highlighted. It sounds like a protection racket. Major toms will have him on video. You could try calling joe duffy.

The security lads form ticket master will have his number and the Garda has his. Name and phone number, the Garda wanted his phone number! The security man told us and we could see him writing it down.I hung around (well i had too) kept me eye out thought the Garda would be back but had to get in to work.

I purchased 4 tickets on this so called website and I know of 3 others who did so also. You have to prove that this is fraud before the credit card company will put the money back in your account. However this is very hard to prove so getting the money back is unlikely. There are just too many gangsters out there. The website is very professional looking and seemed above board, but when you check out the terms and conditions they do mention "souvenir" tickets which does seem strange. They do not have a contact number only an email address so trying to get some answers is very difficult. Ticketmaster should really have a warning on their website in bold print to clarify that they are the only official ticket sellers. Usually this stuff is in small print and not always easy to see. Hopefully people will have been warned enough by now and not buy anymore so called tickets on this website. Definitely a hard lesson learned!

Criminals will try anything to get their way. Have you ever considered it might be part of a ticket rip off such as selling them at exorbitant prices, in other words touting and/or counterfeting?

Anyone remember the prominent TD's son recently arrested with Garda uniforms in his car, among other things? Now I'm not saying for one minute that was connected to ticket fraud or touting, but the history of the gardaí in this country warrents them never to be trusted.
Sure their are some good cops, but isn't that part of their modus operandi, good cop bad cop? A garda would usually never ask you for your phone number, for the simple reason that they aren't entitled to it, your name and address is all you are legally obliged to give, even if they have grounds to suspect you of a crime, I don't think they are entitled to your phone number. I could be wrong, maybe they have changed the laws, again!!

It's very easy to imitate a garda, but very difficult I would reckon if you are a transvestite, maybe bra sizes would help with id, but you're better off taking their shoulder strap number. And that mulla look a lot of them have, very very difficult to achieve, prostethics I tells ya prostethics!!

The mileycyrusboxoffice.com is fake too. I ordered tickets from there and emailed them to ask them where my tickets were and they said they couldnt supply me with them 6 weeks later! I was so annoyed. I havent got my money back yet I should get it in the next week. However I looked up their website and they were still selling the tickets!
