Galway Global Justice training course hosted by Galway One World Centre and Bloom

Galway One World Centre and Bloom: Movement for Global Justice present a one-day development education training course on some of the key issues in global justice campaigning work.

ONE-DAY DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION COURSE

Hosted by the Galway One World Centre in partnership with Bloom: Movement for Global Justice

DATE: Saturday 13th June
TIME: 10am – 4pm

VENUE: Irish Girl Guides Centre, New Road, Galway City (located just off Mill Street)

You are invited to a one-day development education course hosted by the Galway One World Centre on Saturday June 13th to talk about some of the most important global justice issues in today’s world. Workshops will be hosted by our partners from Bloom: Movement for Global Justice and will cover issues including food sovereignty and tax justice.

Participants will also be able to learn from the contributions of our guest speaker and facilitator, Carmen Luisa Castro of Christian Aid Colombia. Carmen Luisa is the co-ordinator for Christian Aid’s work with grassroots civil society movements in Colombia and will report on the experience of campaigns for democracy, peace and social justice in Latin America.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free course.
