HLS customers have no rest from SHAC Ireland

Friday, 30th January

A wet and windy night saw lots of activists turn out at a Bayer / Schering
Pharma meeting and dinner-dance in the Four Seasons Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin.

Security with their walkie-talkies and Gardai were there to protect the company that tests at HLS. Bet they were surprised to see us there as this event was not advertised. Bet they are wondering who told us.

Bayer took out a draconian injunction against the UK activists but the battle continues against the animal abusers in solidarity with the UK Seven who received lengthy jail sentences for their campaigning recently.

We will not rest until the job is done and HLS is closed.

Hey guys,
Great work yer all doin. Was just wondering is there a link between yer protest on Friday and the fire at the DSPCA's headquarters. http://www.rte.ie/news/2009/0201/dspca.html I am not suggesting that you, SHAC, or any of your collective were involved in the incident. What I am asking here is whether or not the fire was an accident, or is it some form of sick retaliation, be it by an individual or on behalf of Bayer et al. to your picket, albiet? I realise your organisation is not linked to the ISPCA, and am well aware that this may be little more than coincidence. Just a thought.
