There will be a special event at the Casino Marino this Bank Holiday Monday (5th August)
We will be recreating the Casino as it was in the 18th Century. Take the opportunity to meet Lord Charlemont, the owner of the Casino and one of the founding members of the Royal Irish Academy and Commander in Chief of the Irish Volunteers. Meet also Simon Vierpyl, the stone mason and Tom Browne, the fencing master. There will be a piper playing throughout the day.
There will also be various displays of duelling with pistols, fencing, archery and Pall Mall!

The Casino is located just outside Dublin City Centre, off the Malahide Rd., after Griffith Avenue (turn left at the pedestrian lights after Nazareth House). A number of buses leaving from the city centre will take you to the Casino and it is within walking distance of Clontarf DART station.
