Amnesty International marks the 7th Anniversary of the opening of Guantanamo Bay with a major protest in O'Connell Street, Dublin and in Shannon on the 11th January 2009. Protesters wore the symbolic orange jumpsuits.
Amnesty International are calling for Guanatanamo Bay to be closed, inmates to be deported to countries in which they will be safe, and for the inmates to be tried in a fair and accountable judicial system.
