Photo-essay from Saturdays massive protest against the education cuts in Dublin

Rallies and protests against the education cuts have taken place in Cork, Donegal, Galway and now Dublin. The same unions which have accepted the National Pay Deal are not accepting the cuts, the same people who voted to accepted the pay deal are not accepting the education cuts. This unresolved contradiction is at the heart of this new protest movement. The ideology of the market which became entrenched under Partnership and the Celtic Tiger is unravelling. These images reflect the search for a new language of resistance and a confusion on taking it forward. Who can do it? Who will do it? What will it take?
