The message was made loud and clear to Harney and Drumm 'Fund our health- Not your pockets' and to provide a health service that we can trust.
The Public Health Service Campaign orgainsed a well attended march last Saturday of at least 1500 participants from all over the country. There were contingents from Sligo who were the last to leave at the rally at Merrion Square, Kerry, and Monaghon to mention a few. Activists came out from the campaigns to keep Crumlin's Children's Hospital and St Lukes. Many speakers highlighted the governments willingness to find money to bail out the greed of the nbanking sector to to abandon the sick and those in most need of support in our society.
