On September 4th 2008 NEAR 90 fm will officially become the first Community radio Station in Ireland to broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Station Manager Soledad Galiana says ‘This is a great first for the Northside, listeners can now hear many of their favourite programmes all through the night’.
Fans of Northside Today, Ska Patrol, NEAR90 Sessions, Enviro, Picking the Blues and many other music programmes can listen all through the night on Near 90 fm www.nearfm.ie
