Western Writers' Centre readings on July 4th

Lunchtime reading by three poets to support The Spirit Centre

Friday, July 4th at 1pm sharp is the date and time of a lunchtime reading, organised by the Western Writers’ Centre in support of Galway’s The Spirit Centre. The readings, which will take place at the Spirit centre at 34 Nuns Island, Galway, is on a contributions basis, and all proceeds go to The Spirit Centre. Reading will be American-born writer, Kevin Donnelly, long-time resident of Galway and a member of the Board of the Western Writers’ Centre: Megan Buckley, who has published her work in various magazines and journals, also reviews new writing and is a Doctoral Teaching Fellow at the English Department of NUIGalway; and Fred Johnston, critic and writer, who is Director of the Western Writers’ Centre. The Spirit Centre is an innovative, not-for-profit community based organisation located in the heart of Galway city. The centre provides a space which facilitates people of all faiths in their spiritual development. The centre offers a variety of spiritual, healing and self-development practices and is staffed by a team of highly qualified teachers and therapists who are committed to providing the best possible care for their students and clients.
