![]() Let's give Bertie the send-off he deserves Bertie Ahern will this evening hand his resignation in to President Mary McAleese, at Aras an Uachtaran, and good riddance too. There will be a demo there at 5pm so that we can give him the send off he deserves. During Bertie's watch, we saw our heritage being bulldozed at Tara. Ireland is fast disappearing under concrete, while public transport remains neglected. Shannon, Rossport, the health service, civil rights, accountability, transparency-all have been assaulted under Bertie's reign. |

Unaware of this. Please refer. And yes, he's a crook, but he's a cunning and ruthless crook with an eye on a rosy future he doesn't deserve.
The amendment I'm talking about is the one that made trespass a criminal rather than civil matter.
Some of the good humoured Protesters at the Boyne today enjoying the sunshine.
Indeed why should Bertie leave to the sound of applause only!!! Good riddance.
Councillor Philip Cantwell joins the Demo
