The National 1916 Commemoration Committee are facilitating a national commemoration of the 1916 Rising this coming Sunday April 27th. In keeping with the precedent laid down by the 1916 insurgents themselves the commemoration is a product of the Republican Unity Initiative. There is an open invitation to all republicans to attend what will be the first unified republican commemoration at the graveside of the executed leaders in Arbour Hill.
