In all the bustle of Dail ovations and political punditry on the resignation of
Mr Ahern the other things that have happened today include the Publication
of the White Paper on Lisbon.
The EU is a power and the treaty will tighten up the 'drift' (whatever on earth that means)
between EU parliament and citizen. It's got something to do with 'traction', which is
the term used by Mr Roche. Mr Roche heads up the EU reform process in Ireland,
but Dermott Ahern Provided the launch and Junket.
The wording of the Treaty has not been published, but we are assured that it shall
be sent to all public libraries and obtainable from this site:

Other reading matter on bi-lateral trade and the excision of article 3.3
(the convention on rights, which has been attached as protocol at the instigation
of two EU nations , UK/Poland) can be found on the newswire.

cauec also have a publication, handed out to all attendees at the health march;
and maybe someone would put their web address on here.
I think they should at least publish the wording and send it to our houses?
Anyway the countdown to Lisbon begins on the day of resignation of one of the last
Bush apologists and trade/food , human rights etc (until 2106) are forming the
agenda- unfortunately debate is limited because most of the mainstream political
parties are advocating a 'Yes' and they get all the Dail speaking time and
media coverage.
