A brief report and a few photographs of two commemorations , organised by different organisations (Republican Sinn Féin and the 'North Inner City Folklore Project' , Dublin) at the GPO in Dublin today , Easter Monday , can be viewed at this link -

- thanks !
Sharon.
great buzz and feeling at the gpo on monday at the rsf comemoration
the first speaker was brillant - dont know his name , man had a grey coat on him , short red hair , but he spoke for about forty mins had no script or notes but there was about a hundred people stopped and just stood there listening
even the cops seemed to forget about looking after the traffic and that and they stood there too, taking in every word
it was a real republican occasion
well done to all involved
Hi Louise !
The first speaker - the 'warm-up' act! - was John , from the '1169...' blog : and that's not the first time he's lost the run of himself in front of a microphone ;-) !
Glad you enjoyed the commemoration - we had decent weather , good speakers , a great crowd of on-lookers and an even better Cause!
Thanks!
Sharon.
