Israel pushes for war on Iran

The Israeli Amry Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi called for international pressure on Iran. He said the Israeli Army "recognized the need to prepare in the event that global efforts fail", in other words, they are prepared to start a war all on their own, if nobody else is.

Not for the first time the Zionist Government of Israel is threathening to start a war with one of it's neighbours. Since they first occupied Palestinian land and stole their country, the Zionist architects of Israel have never wasted a chance to wage war.

"The international community must act with determination to stop the nuclearization of Iran, but should this action not succeed, we in the Israel Defence Forces must prepare for any scenario," Israeli Army Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi said.

He continued, "In the coming years the need to strike at significant long-range targets will become far more important, therefore the capability to act both defensively and offensively against various threats will be upgraded greatly with a strong emphasis on long-range capability."

French President Nicolas Sarkozy refers to the risk of a war waged by Israel in an interview with Le Nouvel Observateur today.

"The problem for us is not so much the risk that the Americans launch a military intervention, but that the Israelis consider their security to be truly threatened."

A U.S. National Intelligence Estimate released last week concludes that Iran halted its weapons program in 2003 but this does not allay the paranoid fears of the warmongering Zionists who have openly criticised the US Government for it's lack of action. A team of International Atomic Energy Agency experts arrived in Tehran on Sunday in an effort to reassure the Israelis that no Uranium enrichment for military purposes is taking place.

Back in Palestine, some good news. In the Gaza Strip a new double headed anti-tank missile has managed to penetrate an Israeli Army Merkava tank. During the latest illegal Israeli invasion of Lebanon Hizbullah's advanced armor-piercing RPGs destroyed 40 Merkava tanks and killed 40 tank soldiers. It seems this technology has now been passed to Palestinian Resistance Fighters who will surely use it to good effect.

Israel seems more and more like a dangerous dying animal who is likely to lash out at any moment. It's propagandists worldwide are still pushing for action and use any pretext to demonise and blacken Iran in anticipation of an attack from Israel.
