Interview with Ben Dangl, journalist and writer, live from Bolivia at The Fourth World War radio program in Féile FM 103.2 or on line at www.feilefm.com

Monday 10th December. 6.30-7pm.

After talking about the Venezuelan revolutionary process last week today we’ll focus in Bolivia.

Nearly two years into the presidency of Evo Morales, government officials and leftist social organizations are determined to break with the past and transform the nation. The opposition calls it a civil war. The government calls it a revolution. Other Bolivian activists and analysts call it business as usual. A look at public opinion and recent conflicts in Bolivia expose the hopes and challenges facing Bolivia's first indigenous president.

We’ll have Ben Dangl live from Cochabamba in Bolivia. Benjamin Dangl has traveled and worked as an independent journalist around the world, writing for different publications. He is the editor of TowardFreedom.com, a progressive perspective on world events, and UpsideDownWorld.org, an online magazine covering activism and politics in Latin America where he has written about social movements in Argentina, Bolivia's resource wars, human rights in Chile, media in Cuba and Venezuelan politics.

He recently won a Project Censored Award for his coverage of US military operations in Paraguay.
